Offered here are some tunes performed by Jose Melis and his Trio with orchestra accompaniment. You most likely won't hear these tunes anywhere else. Sort of swing jazz with a latin flavor. These are from an old SESAC radio transcription disc from about 1949-1950, though I do not know when these tunes were actually recorded. This group is before Jose gained fame as the bandleader on the Jack Paar Tonight Show. Enjoy!
